What Are Webquests?
Most webquests follow the same pattern: Introduction ¤ Task ¤ Process ¤ Resources ¤ Evaluation ¤ Conclusion ¤ Teacher Pages
Not all webquests have a teacher section or indicate grade level. We attempt to estimate grade level when we can. Use your own judgment. You know your students best. We note where we have found broken links in webquests. Don't be afraid to substitute your own links for broken links or check out the site. Sometimes, the site is there but the page has been moved. If you are having problems finding substitute links, call the AVA Center for assistance (856-451-0817). Often, appropriate links can be found elsewhere on the website list. There can be a lot of similarities among webquests. Pick and choose or adapt one for your needs. There are a large number of webquests on the different website lists here. If you are interested in creating your own, visit "Building Blocks of a Webquest" http://projects.edtech.sandi.net/staffdev/buildingblocks/p-index.htm to get started. If you would like a template to follow in creating your webquest, visit one of these sites:
